How do I use Norstar Features?
You can use many features by pressing (Feature) plus a code
1.Press (Feature)
2.Enter the code from the dial pad.
3.Follow the display messages for specific operations of a feature.

How do I program feature buttons?
To program a feature on any M7000 series Norstar phone:
1.Use the feature program code (FEATURE * 3)
2.Press the button you wish to program.
3.Then enter the feature code required to activate that feature.

How do I make a conference call?
To conference (three-way conference call)
1.Make or answer the first call.
2.Put the first call on hold.
3.Make or answer the second call
4.After the second call is connected, press (Feature 3)
5.Press the line or intercom button of the held call.

How do I program AutoDial buttons?
Internal AutoDial
2.Press the button you wish to program
3.Enter the extension number
External Autodial
2.Press the button you wish to program
3.When display changes to "Program and Hold";
4.Enter digits to be dialed

How can I find an extension number?
1.Press (Feature * 0),
2.Press the intercom button
3.Display will change to indicate Extension number and Name of
set
***NOTE*** This feature can be used to identify all buttons
on each set. Use to verify buttons when programming features and
AutoDial's.

How do I transfer?
Without announcement:
2.Press (Feature 70) or Transfer (if programmed).
3.Dial an internal extension number or press an internal Autodial
button. The call is then immediately transferred.
With announcement:
2.Dial an internal telephone number or press an internal Autodial
button.
3.Announce the call after the called party answers.
4.Press (Feature 70) or Transfer (if programmed).
5.Press the line button of the first call. The call is answered.

How do I program personal speed dial numbers?
1.Press (Feature * 4) to enter your Personal Speed Dial codes.
2.Enter a two-digit code (from 71 to 94).
3.Dial the telephone number you want to assign to that code.
Telephone numbers cannot exceed 24 digits.
4.Press Hold to finish programming
5.Keep a record of each Personal Speed Dial entry. See your
System Coordinator for "System Speed Dial" codes.
Using Speed Dial:
1.Select a line or intercom.
2.Press (Feature * 0) (or press Speed Dial if programmed)
3.For System Speed Dial, enter the two-digit code (01-70) for
the number you want.
or
For Personal Speed Dial, enter the two-digit code (71-94) for
the number you want.

How do I open my Voice mail?
From My Phone?
2.When prompted, enter your mailbox password.
3.Follow the on-display or audible directions.
From Off Premise?
1.Dial the "Back Door" or Auto-Attendant telephone
number.
2.When the greeting begins to play, press (**), you will then
be prompted to enter your mailbox number and password combination
followed by #.
3.Follow the admin recording for available options.

Why won't my message indication go off?
If you have checked voicemail, but have no new messages,
try the Message Reply feature. Sometimes a co-worker may inadvertently
set message waiting on your telephone. The Message Reply Cancel
feature (Feature #65) will clear the "Message for You" display.

Why can't I set Night Service from my phone?
The night service feature Must be set from one specific telephone
set. Each Line is controlled by only one set. This set is defined
in programming by your System Coordinator and the Installer.
